You can change how your board handles through strap positioning.
Basically, there are two main adjustments. Stance width and lateral position. There are 6 inserts (and 4 inserts for the LW edition) for each foot to make longitudinal adjustments. Typically, the longer your legs, the wider your stance. The footpads also have 3 lateral adjustment to move your footpads closer to the back edge for more edging pressure.
Your stance also depends on your riding style. Freestylers may choose a wider stance. A wider stance puts more pressure on the edge and makes for better lift offs.
Experiment with your strap and footpad positioning to find your happy spot.
